LWP-Kenya work is based on the following humanitarian principles.

1. To prevent and alleviate suffering wherever it may be found.
2. To protect life and health and to ensure respect for human beings.
3. To be impartial; to carry out humanitarian action without discrimination, to relieve suffering,giving priority to the most urgent cases of distress.
4. To be independent; we operate independently as a non-governmental organization. We partner and collaborate with different organizations that share our values, our vision.
